How we handle reviews
- Reviews are left in the app, after a reading has actually taken place: they cannot be posted anywhere else.
- A review is only published with the explicit consent of its author, who has an account, and is signed with the first name or pseudonym they chose.
- Every review is checked before publication, within 7 days at most. It is published as it is, without any change, or not published at all.
- A review is only refused or removed because of its content: personal or health information, insulting or discriminatory remarks, abusive or malicious reviews (harassment, disparagement unrelated to the reading, repeated reviews), content unrelated to ROTA, advertising or links, accusations against another person, unreadable text. Never because of its rating: a sincere criticism of a reading, however harsh, is published.
- The author is told about a refusal and its reason in the app, where they can also remove their review at any time.
- Nothing is given in exchange for a review, whatever its rating. Authors are not contacted again.
- Reviews are listed by publication date, from newest to oldest, and stay published for 24 months at most. The publication date and the date of the reading are shown for each one.
